While looking around on Baseball Prospectus the other day, I was delighted to see that Joe Sheehan and Paul DePodesta will be speaking and Q&A'ing with fans before the Padres v. Braves game on July 11th at PetCo Park. The moment I found out about it I sent out a few emails, invited a few friends and snatched up some tickets. For more info go here.
This all got me thinking, who would you most like to hear talk about baseball? Last year I was able to hear Kevin Towers speak in front of a crowd of 100. He was incredibly candid while talking about all aspects of the team. As a Padres fan I ate it up. This time with a baseball writer and front office member I feel like I'm getting the best of both worlds.
