Here is the follow-up version for the NL of the Baseball America Prospect Handbook 2008's Top Rookies for 2008. I am surprised to see Astros pitcher Felipe Paulino selected ahead of catcher J.R. Towles. That is something worth remembering.

Who doesn't hope the Phillies rookie choice doesn't make it? A pitcher called "Outman"!

Watch for Nationals SP Collin Balester. Listening to Director of Player Development Mike Rizzo on John Sickels' XM Radio show "Down On The Farm", one should expect Ballester to contribute this season. As a 21-year-old with a half-season of AAA experience, he could be a very good player by 2009.
