Vegas Odds and Fantasy Notes - Week 9

A few notable Vegas lines for this week's games and what that might mean for your fantasy team.

Kansas City (+9) vs Tampa - Jeff Garcia is fifth in the league in passing yards over the past two weeks and although he hasn't thrown an INT, he only has one touchdown.  It doesn't look impressive, but Vegas seems to like this matchup against the Chiefs.  You could do worse at QB.  Brad Johnson, for example, would be worse.

Buffalo (-5.5) vs NY Jets - The Bills are getting a lot of respect here considering Marshawn Lynch is a little banged up.  On the other hand, Brett Favre has three touchdowns and a whopping seven INTs over the past three weeks while averaging 225 pass yards/game over that span.  Up against a tough Buffalo pass defense you should have better QB options.

Denver (-3) vs Miami - Denver gets a slight nod playing at home, but the big news here is the over/under of 50.  We know the Broncos defense hasn't stopped anybody and it looks like Vegas thinks that trend will continue against the Dolphins.

Indianapolis (-6) vs New England - The Colts are a healthy favorite at home, probably due to the respective rushing games. Joseph Addai is expected back for Indy, while a combination of Kevin Faulk and Ben-Jarvis Green-Ellis will handle the load for the Pats.  Matt Cassel completed only nine passes and had two interceptions in the second half against the Rams last week, he'll need to do much better than that against the Colts.
