Week Seven Answers: New Orleans Saints 7 Carolina Panthers 30

Q: Assuming WR Marques Colston returns, what will #2 WR Lane Moore's production be?

A: When I saw Moore caught three balls for a mere ten yards, I thought his days as a WR2 were gone with Colston back.  Then the injuries to de facto WR Reggie Bush and TE Jermey Shockey had me reconsider.  Without those targets, I can see Lance Moore doing his best Wes Welker/Derrick Mason imitation - 5-7 catches for 60 yards.

Q: The Saints defense has been amongst the Top 10 in rushing and passing yards allowed, can the Panthers' dispel the growing notion that the Saints D is legit?

A: With prejudice!  Jake Delhomme's 193 passing yards isn't enough to dispel the notion of a dominant Saints' defense, but the 134 yards rushing on 35 carries by the RB duo of DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart is.  Add in WR Steve Smith's 122 yards and a TD, and the stats show the Saints' defense was not as good as it looked in the previous three games.

Fantasy Player To Sell High:  RB Deuce McAllister.  With Reggie Bush out for several weeks, Deuce will be expected to see more action especially as a receiver.  If a 4th round value is offered, snatch it.
