I'm always intrigued by news that a professional athlete plays fantasy sports. Whether it is Bill Hall of ther Milwaukee Brewers or Darren Sharper of the Minnesota Vikings, the idea of guys drafting their friends calls-up too many memories of being a 14-year-old and entering my friends names in RBI Baseball. (Confession: I didn't do that, but the person I share 100% DNA with did - my brother.)
After a day of ups and downs in the first Sunday of the 2007 NFL season, reading John Lackey's Yardbarker blog about the Angels' fantasy football is still interesting and something of a diversion after watching Stephen JacKson do squat. And fumble twice to boot! I am going to lose in at least one league because my #1 RB provided one point on the the week.
