Using the immensely informative Mock Draft Central Trend Analysis Report, I grabbed the players are the hottest movers up the ADP chart in the last week. There is no surprise that Vikings' rookie RB Adrian Peterson as he is apparently Larry Johnson circa 2005.
A look at the list shows a lot of RBs whose depth chart status is has become more clear. Donovan McNabb's inclusion can be easily explained by the answering of any health questions surrounding him. What I can't quite get is the rise of the Tampa bay Buccanneer Defense.
Maybe the Defense does not have a high Percent Drafted and a few people reached to grab them early, but that hypothesis is refuted by the latest data. The %D is 90.1 in a sample of 394 drafts, and the highest it has been taken amongst those Defense with a %D greater than 80% is the lowest in the group (137 versus 103, 104, 112 and 113.)
If there is wisdom in the fantasy drafting crowd, then the signal is clear that the Bucs will be better than expected on Defense. If that carries over to its offense, then there are sleepers on that side of the ball because I do not see the Defense remaining viable without the help the offense would give by keeping it off the field - Oakland Raiders aside.NFL with Scouts' Jeremy Green at 4PM.
