Community QB Rankings

The community QB ranks are out, and there is little surprise that the top four include Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Carson Palmer and Tom Brady. From there, once can conclude that readers believe in Drew Brees ability to repeat his 2006 season because he is ranked ahead of the Bengal's Carson Palmer. I'd hesitate to select Brees over Palmer, but, then again, I'd likely shy away from the top of the ranks and settle for a player in the 8 to 17 range.

I am pleasantly surprised to see Titans QB Vince Young ranked in the Top 10 already. With an unsettled running back situation and no wide receivers to speak of, Young is clearly looked upon as a one-man wrecking crew. I like him and would gladly accept him in the later single digit rounds despite the obvious flaws at the skills position for the Titans.

Dolphins' QB Trent Green is ranked #25. That seems low, but maybe the voters, and Chiefs, know something I do not.

With RBs, #1 WRs and QBs in the books, look for Other WRs and TEs soon.
