Today is a light day for chats, which is OK. Given a full news cycle, I expect the answers to questions about Roger Clemens to shift from the amount of money paid to the effects of adding a six-inning pitcher to a rotation desparately in need of seven- and eight-inning pitchers. The Red Sox have also made the case that Clemens needs to be strong in October and adding him a month early only makes that proposition less likely.
For fantasy purposes, Clemens is worth a big FAAB in AL-only leagues and certainly worth the #1 waiver claim. Losing out on him in either case isn't going to cost any fantasy team the season though. I suspect the same holds for the Red Sox.
