After a month of no updates on 2008 free agent CF Kosuke Fukudome, I was curious to see how the next great Japanese import has been doing. For the season, his slash stats remain excellent by US standards - 285/442/523. They are not mind-blowing and do not provide enough leeway for translation to US stats - if that even exists in a reliable form. He is drawing walks (29 in the past 28 games), and that is a skill that will serve him well.
