Henry Owens

The Marlins obliged fantasy players everywhere by having a lead in the 9th inning that qualified as a save opportunity.  Because of this, we know who the back-up closer is.  Henry Owens was the choice of rookie manager Manny Acta, and he rewarded his manager's faith by closing out the two-run game.

He did not strike out anyone, though.  This successful save conversion combined with Acta's statement of support for Julio means late tomorrow Acta will announce that Julio is going to work out his issues in middle relief.

In other Marlins' news, fellow rookie fire-baller Matt Lindstrom nows leads closer-for-a-day Owens in strikeouts 1-0.
