I'm not very surprised by the results of the previous poll. The majority preferred to hear about players like Twins SP Ramon Ortiz rather than Seattle SP Felix Hernandez. (Breaking news! The oncoming pitching Armageddon will not spare King Felix. As a matter of fact, he's likely pitched his best two consecutive starts of the year. Sell high!)
The new poll asks who is my readers' favorite MainStream Fantasy Media expert is. I've only included the ones I can think of and amongst those are some of my favorites. I recognize this is a popularity contest to an extent, but I'm curious.
The choices are Jeff Erickson of Rotowire, Eric Karabell of ESPN, Will Carroll of Baseball Prospectus, Ron Shandler of Baseball HQ, and Joe Sheehan of Baseball Prospectus. There are obvious baseball commentators that are not included - Jim Callis of Baseball America, Keith Law of Scouts Inc, and Rob Neyer of ESPN - that are not included.
If I've missed a MSFM baseball expert, feel free to Comment. I'm always interested in learning who my readers favor for the simple reason that I will begin to follow that expert to discern why - just as I would read a recommended book to learn something about the recommender. (Even though she is a billionaire, I can't help but feel bad for Oprah.)
