In honor of the AL-only and NL-only Tout Wars occurring this weekend, I decided to offer a deep, deep, sleeper list for those experts' perusal. I left off those sleepers I have mentioned on the site already and tried to select players who won't be selected in any mixed-league drafts. On that count, I feel very confident.
Some of these players are obvious, though, like Marcus Thames on the Tigers. While digging really deep, I still refuse to consider Vance Wilson, Ramon Santiago or Omar Infante as fantasy players or even the most minuscule value. If these guys get thrust into a starting role, they are there temporarily as GM Dave Dombrowski hammers out a deal for Todd Walker.
I will post a similar list tomorrow for the National League. For those leagues that coincidentally draft on the same weekend as the Tout Wars participants, I wanted to get these up in the event you'd like to benefit, also. I wouldn't want to be perpetuate the rich getting richer, would I?
