As the fantasy baseball season ends, the fantasy football season kicks into full gear. Forgotten is the third major American sport, basketball. Training camps have opened and fantasy basketball leagues are holding drafts.
As a fantasy sports blog, I feel as if Fake Teams should be covering fantasy basketball in addition to baseball and football, but I can't seem to find the time to do all three. With football, Skellar has assisted me and done nothing short of an excellent job (Sammy Morris, thank you.). If there was someone who wanted to do some fantasy basketball writing, send me an email or post a comment, and I will contact you.
In the mean time, is there any interest in a Fake Teams Fantasy Basketball League? I admit to be very statistically driven in the sport. As a result, my intuitive skills are not quite as honed as the ones I have in baseball and, to a lesser extent, football. Not that I have finished at the top of either FT leagues in those sports.
I'm just itching to overdraft Knicks center Eddy Curry and then watch him miss the year with a shoulder injury.
Update [2007-10-10 16:53:38 by Eric Hz]: While not the NBA, the crew at BP has just launched Basketball Prospectus which focuses on the college game.
