Nook Logan

Nook Logan is the subject of a postive article in this morning's Washington Post.  I wrote-up a long post on Nook two weeks ago, so I didn't want to put this on the main page.  However, there seems to be little holding Nook back from being the 2007 starting center fielder for Washington.  With his SBs, I think he could be as valuable as Willy Taveras.

Here is Manny Acta, manager of the Washington Nationals, on how much competition Nook Logan, who has 545 major league at-bats, will face for the starting center field job when spring training opens next month: "He's going to spring training as our center fielder. He's going to be his own competition there, and that's it."
