2007 Houston Astros and Milwaukee Brewers Fantasy Values

The Astros have little in the ways of fantasy depth. Of their starting eight, C Brad Ausmus is the epitome of horrible - high ABs, low AVG, low HR/RBI/SB. He should avoided. SS Adam Everett is damn close, but he has stolen double-digit bases in the past and that keeps him in the usable category. With the trade of CF Willy Tavares, Chris Burke moves to CF and Jason Lane becomes the 4th OF. No one else on the bench is worth dispensing mental effort on.

The Brewers have a couple players who are on the verge of being $30+ players. One needs to boost his HRs and AVG just a bit and the other needs to demonstrate his 35 HRs were not a fluke. However, as a SS-eligible, I can see him easily crossing the $30 barrier in deep NL-only keepers leagues. OF Corey Hart could be a $30 player if he lives up to his minor league HR/SB numbers.
