Randy Johnson

Another "quality" start for the Big Unit, but nothing like he was expected to produce at the beginning of the season.

For the sixth consecutive start, the $16MM man has struck out fewer batters than innings pitched.  His statistics over that span are 5.54 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 16 strikeouts.

Sadly, his season-to-date numbers aren't far from those - 4.96 ERA and 1.26 WHIP with only 137 Ks in 172.1 innings pitched.

He does have 14 Ws and is a decent play in AL-only leagues for that category along with WHIP, but, in mixed leagues, he is no longer a good risk if you are in need of ERA protection.

He is not earning his fantasy salary/draft slot and won't do so over the remainder of the season.

Randy Johnson is now a scuffler. Sad but true.
