Wickman Trade

My quick and dirty thoughts on the trade between the Indians and the Braves.

1st, Whew! Both teams I just wrote about did change closers.

2nd, Reds GM Wayne Krivsky did not set any market whatsoever for middle relievers.  A Low A catching prospect for a proven closer, albeit one disliked by the Roto-community?

3rd, Victor Martinez is not long for the Tools of Ignorance.  The restocking of the Indians catchers, begun with the Shoppach acqusition, continues. Expect Shoppach to get the chance to catch for a couple seasons.  At which point Ramirez should be on the cusp of major-league readiness.
