Ryan Howard

Following the Albert Pujols injury and his removal from the top of the firstbase heap, I checked Ryan Howard's numbers to see if he is the temporary King of the Hill at his position.

20 HR and 50 RBI.  Prorated over the remainderof the season, he is near 50/150!  If not for Pujol's tremendous start, what kind of accolades would have been showered on this second year powerhouse?

Howard is the second-best first baseman in the NL, and, arguably, the second-best power source in all of baseball.

However, that deserved recognition will be put off as all of baseball focuses on figuring out whose names were blacked out in the Grim Reaper affadavit.
