The Devil Rays recalled Chad Orvella on Sunday. Dan Miceli has opened the year with three saves, but Orvella could certainly unseat him if he really has regained the consistency that left him in spring training. So far, the results look promising: in six innings with Triple-A Durham, Orvella struck out five and walked one. He allowed two earned runs to post a 3.00 ERA, but Miceli has already allowed five earned runs in his 4.2 innings of work to post a 9.64 ERA (1.71 WHIP).
If Orvella wasn't eligible to be drafted at your draft (being in the minors, and all), consider making a strong FAAB bid (or put in a claim, however your league works) for him this week.
