For basketball fans, lowpost.net is an invaluable resource to stay up on all of the latest storylines in the NBA. It's a blog aggregator that monitors 150 blogs, grouping posts into relevant "conversations" of similar subjects. Simply put, it's a great way to get multiple angles of the same story.
Technology geeks like myself have seen this done before -- Jason Gurney, the man behind the lowpost.net magic, was admittedly inspired by the popular technology/political site Memeorandum.com. But this is definitely the slickest application of this technology I've ever seen dedicated to sports.
Well, things just got even better: Jason recently implented a new tracking tool that allows users to creat custom RSS feeds and/or homepages to monitor 150+ NBA blogs for information on up to 20 players and teams.
Input your fantasy basketball team and you'll have a fully customized homepage chock full of information on your players. Whether it's finding out about local trade rumors long before they hit the mainstream national media or getting the latest injury information on one of your starters, if you need to know it, you'll probably find it here.
Give it a look, and tell us what you think.
