Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Baltimore right-handed starting pitcher Daniel Cabrera's season was cut short on Thursday because of a strained elbow.
Cabrera sports an 8-10 mark with a 5.25 earned run average in 30 starts this season. He experienced pain in the elbow on Wednesday and underwent an MRI on Thursday that revealed no damage.
The flame-throwing Cabrera was slated to toe the rubber in Friday's contest against the Yankees.
