Recap: Colorado vs. Los Angeles

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Russell Martin drove in a pair and Clayton Kershaw threw six solid innings, as the streaking Los Angeles Dodgers bested the struggling Colorado Rockies, 5-1, in the middle test of a three-game set at Coors Field.
Angel Berroa collected two doubles and knocked in a run for Los Angeles, which has won 12 of its last 13 games. Blake DeWitt walked three times and scored twice. Kershaw (4-5) gave up one run on four hits, with seven strikeouts and two walks.
Clint Barmes had two hits and drove in the lone run for the Rockies, who have lost seven straight games. Jorge De La Rosa (8-8) was saddled with the loss after he gave up four runs on seven hits in five innings of work.
Casey Blake's leadoff home run to left in the second put the Dodgers on the board, but Colorado tied the score in the third on Barmes' two-out, RBI single.
Los Angeles quickly countered with three runs in the fourth to go up 4-1. Matt Kemp led off with a single and DeWitt walked before Berroa lined an RBI double to left. One out later, Martin poked a run-scoring single to left and Juan Pierre followed with a sacrifice fly.
The Dodgers added another run in the sixth. DeWitt drew a leadoff walk, advanced to third on Berroa's two-bagger and later scored on a Martin ground out.
Chan Ho Park hurled two scoreless frames and Jonathan Broxton retired the Rockies in order in the ninth.
Los Angeles activated pitcher Takashi Saito from the 60-day disabled list prior to the game. To make room on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers placed outfielder Andruw Jones on the 60-day disabled list with right knee soreness...De La Rosa had won five straight decisions at Coors Field...The Dodgers left seven men on base, while Colorado stranded four.
