Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman Freddy Sanchez left Tuesday's game against the Houston Astros in the second inning with blurred vision.
Sanchez grounded out in his only at-bat and made an assist in the field before being replaced by Luis Rivas in the second frame.
For the season, Sanchez is hitting .263 -- his lowest average since becoming a full-time starter for the Pirates -- with eight home runs and 50 RBI in 130 games.
