Beginning tonight, I am going to highlight one game that I will be watching for fantasy implications.  Whether it is the debut of a much-helraded minor league prospect (in queue:  Jay Bruce, Chase Headley, Clayton Kershaw) or just a player who has disappointed on some level, I will hit on whatever I think is worth noting.  Hopefully, this will bring forth shared concerns.

Tonight's fantasy game of the night is the Chicago White Sox at the Los Angeles Angels.  My main concersn are the power-hitting duo of the White Sox - Paul Konerko and Jim Thome.

In this power-deprived AL season, neither player came be said to be lacking in HR, but that is a relative argument.  Any fantasy player owning either of these two sluggers are concerned with the never-ending stream of hitless nights.  While the OBP would make Carlos Gomez jealous, the AVGs lingering around .200 do not.

Is tonight the night these two sluggers begin to bring their AVG up, and, by extension, the rest of their counting stats?  For fantasy players who believe the OBP is more meaningful, the time to buy low is now.
