Hey Guys! Brand new to Fake Teams. I am a newer guy to fantasy baseball, Ive played before but never really sniffed the top end of the standings anytime i've played. Usually, I have poor luck with injuries and with players having poor years whilst being owned by me. This year, I entered into a high-stakes league run by one of my best friends. I think I have a decent team, but I really want to improve it with potential up-and-comers who should be getting their shot over the next few months.
It's a keeper league, with one offensive keeper and one pitching keeper. So far, I am 3rd (10.5 behind the leader). It's a OPS/WHIP/K-TO-BB league. When I bought my team, it came with Miguel Cabrera and Gio Gonzalez as the keepers. There are DL slots, but no NA slots. Here is my roster:
Salvador Perez, Miguel Cabrera, Robinson Cano, Nick Castellanos, Alexei Ramirez, Justin Upton, Nelson Cruz, Dayan Viciedo, Leonys Martin, Wil Myers, Brandon Belt (DL), Javier Baez, Gregory Polanco, Gio Gonzalez (DL), Homer Bailey, Sonny Gray, Shelby Miller, Zack Wheeler, Alex Wood, Drew Hutchinson, Jesse Chavez, Tommy Milone, Craig Kimbrel, Hector Rondon, Marcus Stroman.
Its 3 SP-2 RP-3 P-2 UTIL-3 OF. I originally had Belt as my 1B, With Cabrera at 3rd and Castellanos in the OF. Viciendo was my pick up after the injury to Belt. I had Springer on my team for a hot minute, but i dropped him (after it seemed he wouldn't be coming up after suing the Astros) but then someone got him and have him on their team.
