I am currently drafting in my 10 team, H2H Weekly Points League. So far we have drafted 230 players and I am looking to see if anyone has any advice on what to do with my final 2 picks. I plan on using my final 2 picks for pitching, since in a Points league pitching is the big scorer. Generally whoever starts the most SP, gets the win.
The RPs available to draft are: Tommy Hunter, Bobby Parnell, Jose Veras (Cubs), whoever decides to be the Astros closer, Rockies closers, and all back-ups to current closers. In addition there are other SPs with RP eligibility: Garrett Richards, Bruce Chen, Brett Anderson.
The SPs available are: Phil Hughes, Scott Kazmir, Joe Kelly, Wandy Rodriguez, Wily Peralta, Rick Porcello, Kyle Lohse, Ryan Vogelsong, Tim Hudson, Wade Miley, Felipe Paulino. No draft-worthy prospects are available that will help me in 2014.
Do I draft another true closer, or if I really have the need just wait until some new closer is appointed or breaks out and acquire them? Another SP with RP eligibility? Some diamond in the rough SP? Is there some bounce back SP I should be watching, or some SP4-SP5 that is going to have breakout?
