Providing lots of background on this, but I think it works out as a no-brainer as long as my target is healthy. That's a big if though, as I'm as close to all in as you can get in an 18 teamer.
I give: Nava, Holland, Nicolino, 2nd round pick
I get: Matt Kemp
Kemp replaces Nava as my OF3, Holland (as you can read later) can be replaced.
So, I decided to go "all in" last year, dealing a half a dozen young pieces including A. Bradley and S. Miller for Miggy, and wound up going belly up in my 18 team (10 minors) Dynasty league.
This year I doubled down on that, traded Zunino and Wong for Billy Butler to replace an injured Tex, swapping Rendon and A. Sanchez for CC and Fister, and I just swapped Jarrod Parker, D. Paulino, Justin Grimm and Murphy for Adam Dunn and C. Granderson.
Leaves me with a starting lineup of:
1B: Butler (Nava)
2B: N. Franklin (B. Roberts)
SS: S. Castro (N. Franklin)
OF: Gordon, J. Upton, Nava (Ruggiano, C. Ross)
(We start 5 pitchers, either SP or RP, with the top starters>top closers by just a little. It's a H2H points league, so 2-start weeks matter)
P: Strasburg, Greinke, Peavy, Holland, Beachy, CC, Fister, D. Duffy as starters, Frieri, Nathan, Gregg, Veras and the DL'd Francisco as closers.
To give you an idea of scoring, Nathan is 5 among pitchers, with Fister, CC, Holland and Frieri all in the 30-45 range.
S. Trahan, K. Parker, C. Puello
Glasnow, E. Johnson, Nicolino, M. Stroman, J Urias, M. Wisler
There are a handful of prospects I can pick up if I clear space. That includes Salazar (who was inexplicably dropped today) and Berrios, who I like more than most I think.
