I need some advice on whether to pick Mike Zunino or Carlos Correa with the first overall prospect pick in a 20 team dynasty league. My only catcher at the moment is Devin Mesoraco and hope to keep him long term. I do have Xander Bogaerts (if he sticks) and Jurickson Profar at shortstop long term, but I've always thought impact shortstops are rare and extremely valuable.
My team has a chance to compete in 2013 and 2014 with expensive additions that I'll eventually have to drop (J. Hamilton, A. Gordon, Kemp, C. Crawford, M. Rivera, B. Anderson, CJ Wilson, and I have a solid core to build around for the next five years or so (Profar, Bogaerts, Taveras, Cano, Mesoraco, Ike Davis, Jarrod Parker, Cory Luebke, Archie Bradley, Aaron Sanchez and Jose Fernandez).
Zunino is closer to the majors, but everything I read points to Correa being the better long term value. Does Zunino's possible impact in 2013-15 make him worth picking over Correa, or should I pick Correa as he is the most impactful bat from the 2012 draft?
