Late last week, ESPN held a Franchise Player draft where 30 of ESPN's writers picked the player they would want to start a franchise with. Here is a link to the draft results, but here is their Top 10:
1. Matt Kemp, LAD
2. Troy Tulowitzki, COL
3. Clayton Kershaw, LAD
4. Justin Verlander, DET
5. Evan Longoria, TB
6. Stephen Strasburg, WAS
7. Justin Upton, ARI
8. Joey Votto, CIN
9. Starlin Castro, CHC
10. Felix Hernandez, SEA
I agree with many of the top 10 selection, but how can anyone pick Starlin Castro over Ryan Braun, Mike Trout, Giancarlo Stanton or Bryce Harper, who were the next 4 selection, by the way?
If you were in a brand new dynasty league, who would you pick with the first overall pick? Mike Trout? Bryce Harper? Matt Kemp?
