Professional rankings climber.

Every week I take a look at the going's on in the life of relief pitching in fake baseball. This week, like the ever growing trend of this year to date the relief pitching corps are in constant in flux. So have a gander at how I would rank the best conclusionary pitchers and the guys that set them up.
    • With news that Drew Storen will be back soon, Davey Johnson has said that he will stick with Tyler Clippard in the closer role in Washington. I have to agree with this settiment that you don't fix what isn't broken. I can still see Storen retaining some of his value and eventually getting the closer role back at some point later in the season.
    • Matt Capps has landed himself on the DL. Jared Burton got the save yesterday which was preceded by 2 saves by Glen Perkins. Perkins is the main guy you wany to own here as Burton will see a spot chance here and there
    • Frank Francisco has also landed on the DL. Terry Collins has made the choice of Bobby Parnell as the fill-in candidate. Based on k potential he is an interesting guy to own at this point. I just don't see him being the perfect fit in that role, but maybe that's me just hatin'
    • It looks like things have gone full circle for Carlos Marmol in Chi-Town. He closed, sucked, set-up, still sucked, and has regained his closer role. Good lesson for kids in there somewhere's
    • Jose Valverde hasn't pitched in it seems like forever, he is set to return (maybe) against the Texas this week. Here's me holding my breathe. His free-fall will be complete once he starts getting accumulated stats.
