Saturday night the UFC returns to network television with UFC ON FOX 3, which features four action-packed fights. For the casual MMA fan, the UFC's offering on Saturday night will have a different flavor than the first two UFC ON FOX shows. UFC on FOX 1 offered a heavyweight title fight that lasted one minute, while the FOX 2 show had #1 contender matches that went the distance. Saturday's UFC on FOX 3 card will have four fights, all capable of some memorable action, whether it be vicious knockouts in the heavyweight opener, or a leg-ripping submission in the middleweight bout. With no real casual fan "star power" on Saturday's UFC show, it is up to the fighters to take advantage of the opportunity to put on an aggressive, Fight of The Year caliber performance like Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar, a can't miss action fight that will win quarter-hours in the ratings. With four fights on the FOX card, expect at least two fights to be worth the watch. Here's hoping Pat Barry, Lavar Johnson, Alan Belcher (and his Johnny Cash tattoo on his arm), Rousimar Palhares, Josh Koscheck, "Big Rig" Johny Hendricks, Nate Diaz, and/or Jim Miller put on a show that gives them well-deserved popularity and job-security.
