I am in a head-to-head Points (weekly) keeper league. With the keeper league I get 2 guaranteed keepers. Everyone else is only "kept" if someone (or myself) drafts any of my team's 2012 players. In this league, SP generally are the top scorers and will average the most points per week/scoring period.
My 2 keepers from 2011-2012 were Ryan Braun and Miguel Cabrera. My best players in the 2012 season that will be eligible to be kept for the 2013 season are Ryan Braun, Miguel Cabrera, Felix Hernandez, and Jacoby Ellsbury. At the moment I would keep Ryan Braun and Miguel Cabrera again, but would have no problems choosing either Felix or Jacoby (depending on his post-injured season). I also have players like Jay Bruce, Matt Wieters, and Matt Cain.
I was offered:
Encarnacion, Edwin 1B/3B TOR - 92 points
Luebke, Cory SP SD - 81.5 points (keep in mind he will most likely have an innings limit of 180 IP but I am also fairly good at picking streaming pitchers)
Weaver, Jered SP LAA - 108 points
I would be giving up:
Cabrera Miguel 1B/3B DET - 80 points
Kuroda, Hiroki SP NYY - 64 points
Nicasio, Juan SP COL - 59 points
Currently everyone one of the players I would be getting are out scoring the players I currently have.
If you need any more details about my team or the league or the deal, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you in advance for your advice and help.
