Baseball Keeper Help Needed
Got myself a dilemma. I'm in a league that can keep 3 players from last year. I've got Joey Votto as a lock. But the next 2 I'm less than sure of. Here's the list of guys I'm considering:
These will all go against my 1st three picks, so what round doesn't play a factor. I've got a UTIL positions so I don't mind keeping 2 3B if I have to. I'm leaning Wright and Santana. But Wrights age and recent injuries have me worried. Santana has the position scarcity on his side, but is he as good as he showed last year? Sandoval scored very few runs for as many HR as he hits. Zimmerman is an enigma to me.
So what do you guys think?

Santana is obvious
since the other 3 all play third base, you’re only keeping one of them, which leaves Santana as a definite, even if he weren’t already based on his performance and position. Out of your three 3Bs, that’s a much tougher call. Wright likely has the most production potential, if he stays healthy.
Yeah, Santana should be a given, but I'll say Panda for upside
Santana and Zimmermann probably the safest pair though

I'm jumping on the bandwagon
Santana and Zimm. I don’t like the Giants lineup so dismissing Sandoval is easy. And I’m not buying the D Wright resurgence, I don’t care how far they move the fences in.
Definitely Santana ...
Because Wright and Zimmermann both have health concerns, I say Wright as he offers more upside were he to remain healthy and could get you a 20/20 season from 3B which is unlikely to come from anyone other than Lawrie @ the position.
