Using my waiver priority
I'm in a 16 team dynasty league where we keep players indefinitely. My roster is as follows:
C - Miguel Montero
1B - Lucas Duda
2B - Jose Altuve
3B - Ryan Zimmerman
SS - Alexei Ramirez
OF - Jay Bruce
OF - Jose Bautista
OF - Ben Zobrist
UTIL - Dayan Viciendo
UTIL - Kendrys Morales
BN - Matt Joyce
BN - Scott Sizemore
BN - Angel Pagan
BN - Wilin Rosario
BN - Nyger Morgan
SP - Cole Hamels
SP - Adam Wainwright
SP - Cliff Lee
RP - JJ Putz
RP - Brandon League
P - Clay Buchholz
P - Brian Matusz
P - Brad Peacock
BN - Rich Thompson
BN - Bobby Parnell
BN - Shelby Miller
BN - Jake McGee
With yahoo recently opening, waiver claims can be made, and I currently own the second waiver spot. Assuming that Cespedes is picked with the first priority. Is it worth using my waiver slot on any of the following : Greg Holland, Alejandro de Aza, or Mike Aviles.
If i dont use it, i could conceivably save it to get someone who comes out of nowhere (isnt near the top 100 on any lists) to make an impact. Getting someone who is drafted in the 2012 draft isnt likely though, because of a rule in our league that allows a team to draft players who were previously drafted (even if they didnt sign, so last year rendon, gray, cole, jungmann were all taken, this year saw appel, marrero, zunino, roache et al go)

Yu Darvish
guessing he doesn’t qualify?
just checking since Cespedes is available, figured he should be too…
You need upgrade at 2B
You might look deeper on waiver wire for a solution at 2B. Your pitching looks strong which is why I didn’t jump on Darvish bandwagon.
what about daniel murphy
the mets homer in me says jump on it, eligible at 2b/3b/1b could be the bench player that puts me over the top
