MORE keeper help
in my 8 team league (pretty deep though with 28 rounds, so over 200 players drafted)
i was offered my Jesus Montero and Matt Moore and a 11th round pick for his 3rd round pick and a 15th round pick.
Montero is a 22nd round keeper this year, and can be kept for 3 years total (next year he is a 19th round keeper, then 16th the third year) Moore is a 12th round keeper and can be kept for 3 years total (9th next year and then 6th in the third year if he's continued to be kept. What do you guys think of this trade? First glance I'm pretty hesitant to give up that 11th round pick

Confusing description.
It’s really not clear about what the trade offer is. Are you giving up Montero and your 11th round pick, to get Moore, his 3rd round and his 15th round?
I can’t really address the picks issue, because you’re not clear. However, looking at Montero and Moore, both have pretty bright futures. Moore will take some lumps and bruises because he plays in the AL East. Even though he’s got a high ceiling, and he had a nice debut, people forget he’s had very little MLB exposure, and only 9 starts at AAA. He’s highly touted, though, so you can’t go too wrong if he’s in the TB rotation.
Montero loses some value by being traded to SEA, but on the other hand he might have gained more guaranteed playing time, and he might stay at catcher for longer. He could be a stud at the generally weak position. If you have to start two catchers, I might go with him instead, because there are plenty of young SP options available, and though not all may be as high-ceiling as Moore, Montero could eventually become the type of hitter who goes .300/70/25/85 at catcher. As good as other C prospects are (Wieters, Santana, Posey), Montero will be a top-3 guy in the peak of his career. Moore may not ever make it to the top-10 of SP, simply because of the many options there.

i
give up : montero, moore, 11th round pick
i receive: 3rd round pick, 15th round pick
Then no way.
Even with the gain of a 3rd round pick, which seems pretty valuable in your setup, losing two young guys isn’t worth it. UNLESS, you weren’t planning on keeping them anyway, or you had someone nearly comparable to keep instead.

i can only keep 3
and i have jennings, hosmer, and bumgarner for 12th, 13th, and 14th round picks respectively
so you already have your keepers?
Do you mean to say you only get to keep three players, and you’ve chosen Jennings, Hosmer, and Bumgarner? If you aren’t keeping Montero or Moore, that makes it more interesting.
However, I’d still opt not to accept the trade. You’re just giving another team two keepers for himself, meaning you won’t have a chance at Montero and Moore in the draft. Gaining one high pick for two keeper-worthy youngsters doesn’t make much sense.

Here’s how I read the offer:
You give:
Montero (22nd round)
Moore (12th round)
11th round pick
for
3rd round pick
15th round pick
Personally, I probably wouldn’t do that trade – I feel like Montero and Moore are both huge values at those picks, and I have to imagine that the 3rd round pick is probably a bit closer to a 5th or 6th in value depending on how the rest of the league’s keepers work out. The player you take with the 3rd round pick is going to be a 1 year player since you can’t keep them based on the keeper rules I read (move up 3 rounds), so unless you think you are extremely likely to be in the top 2 or 3 this year, I would hold onto Montero/Moore.

No to the trade
that was easy.
And regarding your keeper selection, reading the comment about who you can currently keep, I’d go with Moore, Hosmer, Montero
Fwiw I would’ve kept Jennings instead of Montero but I see you would encounter a draft problem going forward. Jennings & Moore have the same starting point, and Hosmer is only a round after so I assume you would then lose 3 rounds back to back to back, this is why I’d keep Montero, value and talent alone it would be Jennings.
this is true
if i keep those 3, i lose a 12th, a 13th, and a 14th. its not the worse thing though because many others in the league will have keepers in those rounds too, so not many players will be coming off the board
but
you’re still going 3 straight rounds without a pick which is bad for roster construction. even if others lose out, no reason for you to wait that long in between selections.
