Digging into Wainwright's profile, his K/9, BB/9 and GB% were all inline with his 2009/2010 seasons, the outliers were his BABIP and LOB%... both stats that generally regress to league averages... seeing as i didnt watch any of Wainwright's starts, (im a met fan and have an irrational love of all things dickey.... thats what she said) were these numbers a result of diminished control? Is he primed to jump back to the cy young level starter he was?

Age is also a consideration, because wainwright is a traditional power pitcher who is likely to decline somewhere between 33-36 and dickey could continue to pitch like this passed his 40th birthday.
