A trade occurred in one of my longstanding dynasty leagues that I thought was pretty interesting, and as I couldn't really assess if there was a clear winner, I was interested in thoughts. Sixteen teams, no salaries/contracts on players, kept as long as the manager wants to keep them. The draft is eight rounds yearly--at this point the pool is mostly the recent draftees/international signees plus any breakout guys.
Team A -- current league champ, exceptional major league roster across the board, weak minors system
Team B -- middle of the pack team, very deep pitching, suspect offense, average minors system
gives: Zack Greinke, Chris Archer, Jarrod Cosart
receives: Josh Hamilton, Welington Castillo, Clayton Richard, Jake Marisnick, pick 6.5
Team C -- bottom tier team, burgeoning young offense, no pitching whatsoever, top notch minors system (heavy on position prospects)
gives: Xander Bogaerts, Brandon Belt, Clayton Richard, pick 6.5
receives: Zack Greinke, Jeimer Candelario, Jarrod Cosart, pick 4.9
curious to hear if anyone had assessments.
