A downwards roll.
2 weeks ago I saw my 8 game win streak come to an end against the second worst team in the league. Can't get worse than that right? Wrong. Today I extended my losing streak to two as I lost to the last ranked team in my league.
It wouldn't have been all that bad if it was not for the fact the both of the teams I lost against had at least 2 inactive players on their starting rosters. I kind of don't understand how the same players that put me on my 8 game win streak have failed me so miserably this past two weeks.
When my 8 game win streak came to an end, my only player to score in the double digits was my kicker, aside from Aaron Rodgers turning in a terrible 13 point performance. I had a handful of players turn in performances less than 1 point, and then all the rest basically scored 7 points or less. You know some curse had to have been put on you by some evil fantasy football spirt when you lose a fantasy football match up with a score of 43-69 against a team with 4 players who finished with 0 points (RGIII scored 32 for him) right after you finally moved to the #1 rank in the league. I would try to explain how all this happend, but i have since convinced myself that I have no idea what's going on when it comes to anything fantasy football related, seeing that I followed that mindblowing performance by losing against a team who started 2 running backs that were inactive. I retaliated by having 2 of my starting receivers end the day with 0 points. One left in the 1st quarter with a hamstring injury (Miles Austin), and the other wasn't even targeted once (James Jones), and as a result I lost 72-74.
Now I have gone from an 8 game win streak, coming off a W against the previously #1 ranked team, to a 2 game lossing streak and coming off losses against the 2 worst teams in my league.
