Finding fantasy leagues

Hi there, I'm looking for advice and tips on how best to find competitive and active online fantasy baseball leagues in the future. I have played on mlb.com, ESPN and yahoo over the past few years in free leagues made up of complete strangers and have always found varying degrees of zombie teams. I want to play in a league where all managers are active, because (I'm sure like everyone else) zombie teams craze me.

I've been looking through the forums of the aforementioned sites where people seem to be advertising for managers to join mature or existing leagues. Preferably I would like to join a new league (either redraft or some variety of keeper) but these do not appear to be mentioned (perhaps this is the wrong time of year for it?). Any thoughts or advice anyone can offer would be much appreciated.
