My receiving group has been lead by Miles Austin, who is scoring in double digits almost every week, and Torrey Smith, who come up big 2 weeks ago with 25 points and gave another good performance last week by scoring 15 points. Problem now is Austin is on bye and I need to pick up a decent replacement for him not only for this week, but also when Smith goes on bye. Pierre Garcon is my #3 receiver for now, but he is just coming off a foot injury that benched him for a couple weeks, so if he turns out not to be able to give decent production I may need a new #3 receiver as well.
Both Dallas Clark and Antonio Gates are doing horrible, neither have scored a single touchdown all season and neither have gotten anywhere close to double digits (Gates has scored a total of 13 points this season). I am willing to play the waiting game with Gates because he slowly coming back from a rib injury that may be slowing him down a bit, but Dallas has been performing so terribly that I definitely need to drop him for a new TE.
I noticed that Heath Miller is currently on the waivers and I'm wondering if I should go for him? And as for wide receiver, Mike Williams(Tampa Bay) is currently available (I am planning on dropping Michael Crabtree) and also Greg Little, TItus Young and Randell Cobb are available.
At RB, Jones-Drew will be on bye next week and my only RB on the bench in Mark Ingram who I was hoping to have developed into a solid back up option but that doesn't look like the case. Really my only decent options off the waivers look like Pierre Thomas and Peyton Hills .
Any opinions would be appreciated.
