Fantasy Baseball Suggestions Thread
I have added several fantasy baseball writers in the last week, and am considering others, but wanted to hear from you what types of coverage you would like to see in 2012.
Waiver wire? Two-start pitchers? Closer/Reliever report? Daily Roto Roundup? Player analysis?
Let me know what you want to see and we will do our best to provide the coverage.

Buy & sell
All the above are important. One thing owners are always trying to do is buy low and sell high. Even a weekly comment on players to target and players to sell. Both major leaguers and minors.
More chats! Always have questions related to breaking developements or questions pertaining to my fantasy teams.
Chats are good
Because so many situations are roster-dependent.
To be honest, I don’t much care if you do closer reports and two-start pitcher stuff. There are a load of sites who do these already, and I’m not sure that having one more makes much of a difference. I would find some in depth analysis of whether guys on a hot or cold streak are likely to regress quite useful. Being able to tell the difference between, say, Dunn and Uggla, or Ryan Roberts and Sam Fuld is really helpful.
Any stuff for dynasty leagues is useful, especially if it’s a bit deeper than Bryce Harper and Mike Trout are going to be good.
Maybe
Put all the fantasy basketball stuff in a deep dark corner so it doesnt clutter up the the interesting sports? 8’)

nah
we just started the fantasy basketball coverage and it is getting some nice traffic.
Actually I will be adding another fantasy hoops writer in the next few days.
With that said, I think it makes sense to have different tabs above for each fantasy sport. Will put in that request soon.

How about
Keeping us up to date on call-ups and what’s going on in the higher levels of the minors. I would imagine a high % of your visitors play in keeper and/or dynasty leagues.
yes
we have covered some of the higher profile call-ups in the past, so I will make sure we do a better job in 2012.
Jason will be covering the minors for us this season, so between he and I, we should be able to cover the top prospects who could get called up this season.

all questions answered
i would like more of the all questions answered features. i have really appreciated your prospect position rankings
AL only and NL only analysis
The net is so focused on mixed leagues, but many die hard players are in single league games. There is a market for this kind of analysis, and not a lot of competition.
We all know about Pujols, but many of us need to know about 4th outfielders too.

thanks
we start our AL-only/NL-only league rankings on Monday.
Also start our points/h2h league rankings on Monday.

includes deep leagues
I agree that the AL/ NL only stuff is great, and if you add in that they are usually deep, you can cover both. I am in a deep AL only keeper with a minor league system. We also use OBP and SLG and holds.
The point is- you can get the obvious info anywhere. Cater to the hardcore fans. I bet that is how half of us discovered this site anyway- looking for more info to get that edge.

thanks
we do try to dig a bit deeper with our coverage.
I did not think about ranking for OBP and SLG leagues.
Our reliever rankings including several middle relievers, so make sure you check them out. Here is a link.

Suggestions...
I for one primarily deal in dynasty leagues and would like to see more analysis on minor league players and how they may project into their ML plans for the future…I also dont see the pitching info too difficult to keep up with as there are many sites that do that. Its the younger players that I try to find as much info about that seems to be more difficult and also more rewarding when I hit on a sleeper that was overlooked or undervalued because of a learnig curve…BTW great work and like the plans for the future here..I will be visiting more frequently now.
thanks CC
I am adding to our prospect coverage with a focus on deeper dynasty leagues, so stay tuned.
