Any Brandon Webb News
Has anyone heard any news around Brandon Webb. I traded for him a couple of years back in my dynasty league and want to get something out of him, but if he is done I sure would like to dump him and keep someone else. He has been a total dissapointment for me as I traded for him towards the end of his last healthy season. THANKS.

Webb
I have not heard much but remember reading last year that he had lost velocity. I would not waste a keeper slot on him.

I keep 25 out of 35, other potential keepers instead of Webb would be Zambrano, Harang, Erlin, Betances or a hitter like Giovetalla, Thames, D.Murphy, Gyorko, or Leonys Martin….I am in a win now mode.
I would probably keep all of them ahead of Webb at this point – Webb is basically a lottery ticket that you could get back later on I think.

I would keep Erlin over Webb. Erlin appears to have a much better shot at pitching in the near future than Webb, and he has trade value should you keep him since he pitches in Petco.

Difficult
I agree with you guys, it is just so difficult to cut bait since I let Kemp go as part of the deal 3 years ago….sucks!
trade
everyone makes trades they regret. I would move on as you are only hurting your team by keeping Webb.
I agree with Jason…..all of the other guys have more value than Webb.

I agree. It’s unfortunate you lost Kemp in the deal, but holding onto Webb doesn’t help you win now.
Which D. Murphy? If it’s Daniel Murphy of the Mets, he should have 1B/2B/3B eligibilty in 2012 with a full-time job at 2B likely batting 2nd in the Mets lineup. That kind of multi-position eligibility offers a lot of flexibility to roster more pitchers and he should offer a .300 AVG or close to it with 10/10 potential and a nice source of runs. For your 25th of 35 players you could do worse.

Try to Remember
As hard as it can be sometimes, the move you made before should not have an impact on how you manage your team now.
Keeping Webb because he’s the remnant left over from something involving Kemp isn’t a good enough reason IMO.
