Ray!
First you knock my duo of Verlander and Hudson, and now you are going to call my precious Jacoby a bust candidate ?!?!? Cripes!! You and I are not getting off on the right foot in this young 2012 off-season….
ha
He is still a valuable OFer, but I am not expecting 30+ HRs this season. Maybe he changed his swing, but ptichers catch on to those things.

Ellsbury
No way he performs like he did in 2011! Anyone think he took PED’s with Braun?

Kinsler/Cano H2H Question
I noticed in the chat there was a question for Kinsler or Cano in H2H league. I have Cano ranked #1 in my H2H 2B rankings, but only because he is as safe a bet as any in baseball and consistent from weak-to-weak, which is huge in H2H as each week is the start of a new mini season almost.
Kinsler on the other hand has not only the potential to be one of the top scoring 2B, but one of the top scoring hitters period when he is able to healthy, but that just doesnt happen enough. Plus, his home/road splits were among the worst in baseball last season, meaning when the Rangers go on a 6-9 game road trip he could be a liability in your lineup. Cano is never a liability.
For the most part its really just a matter of philosophy. If you take a “go big or go home” approach to drafting then Kinsler is probably your man cause on a good week heis differential to an opponents could win a matchup for you, but if he is hurt or on the road, it gets sketchy and youll need to draft a solid backup at some point (good news is there is a lot of depth at 2B htis year). I like risks, just not as early as when its required to draft Kinsler.
