I apologize for slacking on the noon fantasy baseball links the last few days. Robert has been out of town, and I didn't get a chance to get to them, so let's take a look at some recent links I came across:

John Sickels from Minor League takes a look at his Prospect of the Day: Joe Benson, OF, Minnesota Twins.

Five Moneyball-Style Prospects for 2012 - Minor League Ball

Jose Altuve's 2011 - Roto Hardball
Marc Normandin from Rotohardball takes a look at Astros second baseman Jose Altuve. Jose Altuve had a massive season in the minors, but it hasn't translated in the majors just yet -- should you be looking at him for 2012, or sitting back and waiting?

Player Analysis: Is There Any Value Left In Pedro Alvarez? | Rotoprofessor
Rotoprofessor takes a look at Pirates third baseman Pedro Alvarez to determine how he should be valued in 2012 fantasy drafts. Fantasy owners need to determine if his 2011 season is just growing pains for the young power hitter or a sign of things to come.

yes, but........Cameron knows....

National League Cy Young: Roy Halladay (21), Clayton Kershaw (3), Cliff Lee (1)

Also a landslide over in the National League, but a more surprising one than in the AL. The staff clearly prefers Halladay’s method of getting outs to Kershaw’s. I think Kershaw will probably win the actual award, but the Phillies ace will be able to console himself with his eventual plaque in Cooperstown, I’m sure.

not a surprise really

I know philly fans who have alreasdy conceded the CY to Kershaw including one of the writers from the Good Phight.
should be a closer race than the fangraphs voting.
