Need help with some keepers for next year

Basically i'm trying to win this year and next year. In my 10 team league, you can only keep players who have played less than 3 full years. If they were a FA pickup they cost you a 12th round pick, otherwise you give up a pick 3 rounds higher than when you drafted the player. I have a lot of potential keepers but we can only keep 4 guys.

My choices

Posey- give up 9th round pick

Espinosa- give 12th round

Hosmer- 12th round

Jennings- 12th round

Brett Lawrie- 12th round

beachy- 12th round

pineda- 25th round

Jesus Montero- 22th round

Bumgarner- 14th round

To me, posey has the most brand value, and i've been trying to trade him for some help this year. If i can't trade him now i could be able to swing him for draft picks in the offseason. I know its early, but i think my 4 should be Montero, Pineda (duh), Jennings, and Lawrie, with lawrie using a 13th round pick. If i don't deal Posey, im not sure if i would keep him for a 9th round pick given the injury or get rid of jennings or lawrie. Your thoughts?

Hosmer is your best keeper

You have to keep him, he will outhit Lawrie.

I think you keep Posey, as Montero will not stay at C, and Posey’s talent and potential are still huge. Does his injury affect his service time in your league?

Also keep Lawrie, he’s your 2nd best hitting prospect.

And then you flip a coin between Jennings and Pineda. Yes, Pineda has been great this year, but pitchers are notoriously fickle in fantasy, and there are always plenty of good ones available, especially when you only keep 4 players. Your talent pool for the draft is huge. So I might lean Jennings here.

look, my guess is that posey’s season isnt counted against him, however next year he is already a 9th round pick, and to keep him 2 years the second year would cost me a 6th round pick

but its worth it.

their are like maybe 5 catchers in the league that produce like him.
and h emay not be better than other players.
but his positional value makes him worth it.
just like in the NFL draft. The QB isnt always the best player in the draft. but they are taken first because unlike other positions few people poduce like them

i like hosmer and pineda.

montero will most likely be called up to DH or Catch.
or be traded to a team that will do so.
posey is one of the better catchers in baseball. and given the lack of fantasy talent at the catcher position idk if i’d trade him. not unless montero gets called up this season and looks good
