Aaron Hill and Chris Davis
Very simple question (really 2 questions):
1. What do you expect from Aaron Hill for the rest of 2011?
2. What do you expect from Chris Davis for the rest of 2011?
Personally, I'm hoping to see some of Hill's power come back in the second half, and I'm hoping he hits around .260-.280 from here on out. As for Davis, I think he'll be traded somewhere, and then depending on where he goes either his stock will go a little bit higher (due to playing time) or it'll completely plummet. My money's on plummeting, since I can't see him going to a really good hitter's ballpark like Citizens Bank Park, Fenway, Yankee Stadium, or Coors. I can see him going to San Diego for a relief pitcher or two, and that'll definitely hurt his stock.
So, what do you all think?
Disclaimer: The reason I'm asking is because I just traded for both of these players (Davis was kind of a throw-in). I traded Travis Snider and Charlie Blackmon for the two of them. Personally, I think it's a heck of a deal as long as Hill can regain some of his 2009 form, or even his 2010 power.

i can see hill finishing the season with a .260 average.
and hit around 15 HR’s to finish off the season (i think he’s at 4 or 5 right now)
as for davis i have no idea who he is. the texas guy right?
i think your best off dropping him unless your in a dynasty league with minor league teams. if your not, might aswell drop him now.

Davis
Yeah, he’s the Texas guy. He’s a monster AAAA player, but hasn’t been able to put it together in MLB. I’m fairly certain he’ll be traded next month. I’ve definitely considered dropping him, and I think I’ll likely end up doing that.
he's kinda like shelly duncan.
great in triple a. not so great in the majors. one of those rare quad a guys.
and yea, if you dont have seperate minor league scoring. than it probably be best to drop him

He wouldn't go to San Diego since they're set at the corners and play in the NL so no DH.

Hill
Hill’s swing is looking more like it did the year before his concussion, 2007 or whatever it was. He hit something in the range of .290/17/80 with 40-odd doubles. If he keeps the level line drive swing he had I could see him hitting .280 with 7-10 hr rest of season. But he has been one of the most unpredictable players so who knows.
