Matthew Moore - Rays  SP  DOB: 06/18/89

6 home runs can be to blame for Moore's 4.60 ERA after 6 starts. He has struck out 41 and walked only 6 in 29.1 innings while limiting batters to a .232 AVG.

Paul Goldschmidt - Diamondbacks  1B  DOB: 09/10/87

Goldschmidt continues to toy with Southern League pitchers. In 27 games he has 11 dingers and 27 walks. He is also striking out less than 20% of the time and batting a robust .351.

Randall Delgado - Braves  SP  DOB: 02/09/90

The Braves other top pitching prospect is having a strong season. After 6 starts he has a 2.51 ERA with 31 strikeouts in 32.1 innings.

Brett Jackson - Cubs  CF  DOB: 08/02/88

Cubs fans should be excited about Jackson as he is tearing it up in Tennessee. He has a .303 AVG, 7 2B, 2 3B, 4 HR, 21 BB and 10 SB in 12 tries. The one blemish is the 26 strikeouts, something he has struggled with his entire career and what could keep him from being truly great.

more after the jump...

Rubby De La Rosa - Dodgers  SP  DOB: 03/04/89

The Dodgers young flamethrower is striking out batters in bushels. He has 36 Ks in 27.1 innings. His mix of firepower and control could make him a frontline starter should he avoid any serious injuries.

Johermyn Chavez - Mariners  RF  DOB: 01/26/89

After hitting 53 bombs the past 2 seasons, Chavez has just 1 in 2011. He has struck out 30 times in 26 games and has been caught stealing 5 times in 7 tries.

Cody Puckett - Reds  2B  DOB: 04/03/87

Puckett has been a seldom talked about prospect and has quietly put up some solid minor league numbers. So far in 2011 through 29 games he is batting .319, 8 2B, 6 HR, 8 SB, 0 CS, 13 BB, 19 K

Paul Clemens- Braves  SP  DOB: 02/14/88

Clemens is making a seamless transition back into the rotation by leading the league with a 2.08 ERA after 6 starts. He has struck out 36 in 34.2 innings and held opposing batters to a .210 AVG. In his most recent start he went 8 innings, giving up 4 hits,1 walks, 1 earned run and fanning 8.

Jarrod Parker - Diamondbacks  SP  DOB: 11/24/88

Parker's 7.43 ERA can be blamed on the 14 earned runs he gave up in 7 innings during his first 2 starts of the season. The TJS survivor has a 2.81 ERa in 3 starts since. He is walking too many with 17 in 23 innings.
