Should I Be Panicking?
I've been reading posts here for a while and love the insight. Now I am in need of some guidance. I'm in a 10 team H2H league with a bunch of money on the line including side bets with other players. My team has gotten off to a horrendous start, as I'm last in the league by quite a bit. Now I'm not quite panicking yet, but I'm wondering when is the right time for me to start making some serious changes. My roster is as follows:
Evan Longoria (DL)
Jared Weaver
Zach Grienke (DL; managed to swing an early season trade for Grienke - sending back Scherzer)
Brett Anderson
JJ Putz
Now I know I have a bunch of guys off to slow starts (Dunn, Rios, Gonzalez, etc.), but I can not afford to fall too far behind this early on. Suggestions?

throw me
some Free Agent names you got in your league. Don’t worry about Cargo he will get his. He is going through adjusting his swing. Right now he is pulling his head a bit but he will get it. He has also played in a lot of shitty weather this year. I have him and Alvarez as well and their struggles are killing me. I would try to deal Latos. I like his upside and had him last year but I hate pitchers on bad teams. Very hard to get wins and wins count the most in my league. Obviously when Langoria gets back he will help your team a lot.
I too am in a major money league, 10 teams, $150 buy in $1 transactions. WIth my league I git guys who hate making trades but when they do they tend to be homers to their teams. I got Red Sox, Rockies and Yankee homers and take advantage of that. Pick the homers in your league out and see what you can do. Like I said I scan the FA wire every day because guys are exiting teh DL daily thus leading to guys dropping players. Also if a player slumps I know a lot of players get impatient. I have picked up Alphonso Soriano, James Walden, and Josh Beckett off of waivers or free agents this year because people looked past em. Walden has 4 saves with a 0 ERA, Soriano now has 7 bombs which is tied with Tulo on my team. Beckett is 2-1 but has been pitching lights out. I wouldn’t worry yet but like I said I like to take advantage of the homers in my league. I got a guy who’s team is “Tulo-Git” and he doesn’t even have him. I am kind of tempted to offer him Tulo for Weaver and Langoria hen Langoria comes back and if he’s performing at a high level. The guy said he would give me anyone for him but he too is in last place in our league. I think I will hold onto Tulo just b/c he’s the best hitting SS in the league. Goodluck and like I said throw out some FA’s for me and I’ll let you know my thoughts. I have been playing this for 4 years now and have never finished lower than 2nd place. I like the young under the radar guys and so far my team is in 1st place. Just so you know I’m not some shmo who has no idea what he’s talkin about =)

You just have a lot of underperformers
They’ll turn it around. You have an incredible team! Sit tight.
team
your team is just off to a slow start…..one month does not make a season. You should hold off on any drastic moves.
I would add chacin if latos doesn’t turn things around, but he did pitch better yesterday.
Uggla always starts off slow but ends up with 30 HRs almost every year.
I am surprised with Dunn;s start, but he hits in a hitters park, so you have to keep him.
Alvarez started off slow at every new level in the minors before he turned things on.

Possible trade
What do you think of this possible trade:
Carlos Gonzalez
Mat Latos
for
Ryan Braun
Max Sherzer (I don’t know if I could get Scherzer back, but if not I’d likely take any of his pitchers, drop him and instantly pick up one of the guys listed above).
Thoughts?

Trade Latos...
Once he gets a couple good starts. I think this season he has a bunch of shoulder issues, his IP were way above his previous max last year.
