Well as the NFL draft is 6 days away and that day will affect every fantasy outlook possible for every team. Will Mark Ingram be the Ryan Matthews of 2011?, Will Julio Jones be the star studded rookie that Dez Bryant was supposed to be? Will Cam Newton be a fantasy scoring machine with his duel threat ability like Vick? Will Arian Foster show is a true stud or a one year wonder?
At this point we don't even know if there will be football next year but I am hopeful and in my opinion we will have a lift by late July. As i sit here compiling stats of last year in comparison with the new schedule posting I cant help but be excited for one of the biggest free agency terms football has seen in years. Ricky and Ronnie are mostly likely moving their skills else where, Deangelo Williams will do the same. Arian foster might not even play if they don't sign him to a extension (i don't blame him, being the league leading rusher and getting the league minimum?) On top of all the defensive studs that are FA's I think this will be a very exciting off-season "IF" we can get the lock out lifted with enough time to get FA's signed.
At least we know one thing about fantasy football this year, the schedule. And Yes in terms of difficulty I have to admit, the Giants got the big half of the turd sandwich this year. Arizona on the other hand was given a cake walk schedule, Opening against the Panthers? Really?. And i must admit I am a little angry the Cowboys Open up against the Jets, but at-least it will be entertaining to see Rob and Rex Ryan battle it out.
I cant wait for this season, but all in good time i suppose.
