Get rid of
Kershaw, and keep:
1. Wright
2. Tulo
3. Gonzalez
4. Heyward
What is this league, a 6 team mixed? That is an incredible roster….
+1
I agree with Tom

makes it tougher
I’d go Tulo & A-Gonz, Kershaw & Hanson. I just don’t trust Wright, and there’s cheap upside at 3b late in the draft (Alvarez, A-Ram, etc)

first base
is deeper than 3B, so that is why i went with Wright, who is probably the #1 3bman in drafts this year. At least I think i ranked him that way.
You can almost flip a coin and not go wrong with either Wright or AGonz, to be honest.

agreed that you can't go wrong
the possibilities of Gonzalez absolutely exploding and Wright falling back to somewhere b/w last year and 09 makes me lean toward Gonzalez, despite the greater depth at 1b.

I'm leaning...
Troy Tulowitzki, Col, SS
Jason Heyward, Atl, OF
Clayton Kershaw, LAD, SP
Tommy Hanson, Atl, SP
am i nuts to give up Adrian Gonzalez and David Wright?

not really
Heyward could jump into the Top 10-15 in 2012, but Wright and Agonz are there already, imo. But, I could see an argument to keep Heyward.
Actually, to make your decision even more difficult, if Tulo didn’t have such an insane September last year, are you even considering him, position scarcity notwithstanding? Tough call.

Tulo
The issue with Tulo is he has missed a significant amount of time two out of the last three years. I realize a significant portion of that time was due to some freak type injuries. But still, how many games can a person expect Tulo to play this year?
His September was one to remember but if you just average his other months into September and also figure his career stats, minus his time missed due to injury, and he still has some impressive stat lines.
But on that note, take out Wright’s 10 HR year of 2009 and is he a must keep player? I think probably so.
hmmm...

….well this question may be important after all…

I agree with this one
position scarcity plus keeper league, i rather keep a young stud, 1st base is pretty deep, and i think Wright is overrated.

interesting discussion here.

Tulo and Kershaw for sure...
After that it just depends on when you are going to draft and what your priorities are for this year or future years along with what you think the other teams are going to focus on early.
Long term, I like Heyward…And maybe even Santana (but a little ? on health for this year and Heyward is just a huge prospect to give up for Santana). Short term I like Wright.
Long term I like Hanson, short I like Cain a fraction more than Hanson for this year, otherwise I’d say Tulo, Kershaw and Hanson for sure.
